I'd like an ATAPI-compatible 4x or 6x EIDE CDROM drive at a good price.
Used is okay if you want to upgrade yours to those new cheap 8x drives.
E-mail if you have one in Austin (or have a tip on buying one here).

thanks,
kevin

In article <4so5il$a...@villa.fc.net>, kev...@ministry.paranoia.com says...

Several of the computer stores in the Austin area have 4x for $50 or less.
You might check Computer1 or STS or AMS.

Look at the business section of the Austin UnAmerican Spacemen (AKA Austin
American Statesman). There are several listings for the low cost market.

Check out Computer1 (458-1616). I bought an NEC 4X ATAPI/IDE CDROM
there last week for $55.00
