It's screen is a 17in widescreen TFT WXGA (resolution 1440x900), 1 Gig
memory (ewxpandable to 2 gig), 60 GB hard drive, ATI X700 video, Built-in
Intel wireless 802.llg, an SD memory card reader, gigabit ethernet, DVD+/-
RW drive. Its processor is Intel® Centrino™ 1.73 GHz Mobile Technology
with Intel® 740, 2 MB L2 Cache with 533 Bus speed. 4 USB ports, a
firewire port, VGA and Svideo out, builtin modem. Comes with power cord,
and battery still works.
I bought this laptop new in late 2006. It has been very reliable, and has
a great feel to it. Since it has a large screen, it has a full keyboard
including the number pad keys. What I really loved about this laptop is
the screen. Nice and big, and it has a great color and contrast. My new
laptop has the same size screen, but this one has a picture just looks
better (the only way i can describe it).
If you are interested in a laptop that runs Linux well, that is what I
have been running on the laptop and it works great! For resale, I have
reinstalled the original Windows XP that came with it, though. The laptop
is still in great condition - no scratches on screen or cracked plastic.
