Two Limited Edition framed Coca-Cola Animation Art Cels For Sale

#1 Polar Bears En Masse, Drinking Coca-Cola (#394 of 2000)
#2 Close-Up or Polar Bear and Coke Bottle (#669 of 2000)

Each Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, signed and mounted.

These are beautifully framed pieces of art...which make a very nice set as a
pair, but I will sell individually, if requested.

"In recognition of the tremendously growing market for original animation
artwork, The Coca-Cola Company, for the first time ever, has released a rare
limited offering taken directly from their internationally acclaimed polar bear
commercials. The pieces are printed onto celluloid acetate as a brilliant
animation cel from the actual digital artwork used in creating the original
commercial for television."... taken from the Certificate of Authenticity.

Each is priced at $500 (shipping and insurance included) Terms are money order
in advance of shipment.

Please email me at Penny.s.s.k.@worldnet.att.net if you are interested, or if
you have any questions.

I saw these things on some cable shopping show, and they just bug the heck out of me. Maybe I'm being
narrow-minded, but I just don't see the point of buying a digital image printed on a cel, when no cels were
used in the making of the original work? Admittedly, no one is trying to say that these are animation cels,
but what is the point here? I love computer-generated, computer-assisted, AND good old ink 'n' paint
animation, but what is the artistic benefit of printing on "celluloid acetate," other than the attempt at
increasing the perceived value of the art by associating it with the booming hand-painted animation cel
market?

Am I alone on this? Thoughts? Comments? Flames?
