Does the ABC have any technical staff left?

daylight saving time earlier this year. Any bets on whether they can get
them back onto daylight saving time any quicker this time around?
Even the commercial channels managed it without much of a hitch this time.
And how come ABC2 manages to get an EPG working most of the time, while ABC1
is hardly ever available beyond what's on, and sometimes not even that. And
what ever happened to the ABC3 programming that was promised?

Funny, my PVR still goes back an hour every time I turn to ABC1,2 or3 (now
Monday morning) Time display probably depends on how your box clock works
though. And whilst ABC2 shows an EPG, ABC1 is only showing now and next and
"no information" for me.
No problem with the commercial channel clocks this time though, even on
Sunday morning. Some of their EPG's are patchy, but nothing unusual there.
Half the time they don't even know what program they are showing while it's
on. They'll change a program, and happily display the previously advertised
one. They don't seem to want anybody to know what they are showing!
Just as well it's free I guess, but I can't imagine why companies keep
paying for ads.

But what exactly does "high rating" mean these days. Just that a hundred
viewers with people meters were watching!

ABC1 EPG is now working OK, (but I won't bet on how long for, I find it
amazingly erratic)
The ABC time still shows EST not EDT on my box, channel Nine was OK for me
since early Sunday morning.
Since I can flip between ABC and other channels with the time changing to
and fro by 1 hour in every instance (dozens of tries) I am happy to bet the
problem lies with the time code being broadcast. What your box does with it
is another matter though.

Not according to the various forums that specialise in digital television and
PVRs. And in spades for the regionals, particularly WIN Victoria.
