The commentators keep saying how disappointing the crowd numbers are.
The main grandstands seat over 40,000 people yet only 800 tickets were
sold. But look at the time. Who wants to go to the racetrack at 7in
the morning? Nobody. Idiot organisers.

Tomorrow is even worse. The race starts at 5am. Texans are not the
type to get up before dark to see racing cars.

Pity the people on Christmas Island - it will be 2 AM for them.

ER no. It will be the same time in Texas no matter where you watch it
from. Moron.

You're not good with time zones, are you Coach?

How do different time zones change the ACTUAL time the event is
conducted in Texas? I thought you would be smarter than that Bradley.

Nobody is arguing the actual running time of the event in Texas as you well know. It is the viewing time that is the variable. For a 5am Race, I would have to be awake at 4am. (Assuming local tv coverage) and I have no intention of waking that early. And as you have pointed out,,that's why the attendance figures are down. These are NASCAR people, used to afternoon and night races, and tailgate barbeques, not predawn races with cars that can steer left AND right.

That's the sound Nascars make.

It's more like "wuss".
