One day people want to protect the environment,
the next day they say "we need" population growth.
You can't have it both ways; deal with climate
change by dealing with overpopulation. But the
plague landlords, hyperactive immigrationist
politicians and property speculators want even
more surplus third world flesh.
Land speculation and real estate scams require
fuel. Corrupt property financing holds the key to
the demographic pyramid scam of the bulk
immigration propelled economy.
The government meddles with the property market to
help the few at the expense of the many. Creating
winners and losers. Australian governments are
very good at ignoring the opinions and welfare of
most Australian citizens.

Part of the problem is that the media and gov't have convinced ordinary hard
working Australians that rising property prices are good. Even x and y gens
believe the crap and it amazes me a how willing they are to hock their lives
for a home after a receiving the FHBG bribe.

Wake up Australia!

Part of the dirty trick has been to 'blame' young people for wanting
too much: ie the house is supposed to have a fitted out kitchen and
bathroom. As this is about $10k each it hardly explains the massive
increase in prices. There is nothing quite as disgusting as some
arrogant baby boomer lecturing kids on this.

1 1960 40 weeks of average make weekly earnings purchased an average
Sydney House.
2 2010 About 5 years buys an average Sydney House.

The shortfall has been made up by forcing women permanently into the
workforce. This has lead to the below replacement level fertilly and
fatuous calls for more immigration and as its immigration that
fundementally driving up housing costs this is very corrupt.

There is a vast transfer of wealth occuring and the kids have no
choice. They basically sacrifice having children to pay for the house
or rent for that matter.

Russia has recently had some success in increasing the brith rate:
one thing they did was cut down on immigration to give their own kids
a chance.

Almost everytime I see Kevin Rudd on TV he talks about how wonderful it is
that Australia is growing. Mining is booming. Banking is booming. The
insurance sector and real estate are going ganbusters. There is no limit for
the ASX. Growth Growth Growth. We're all going to be rich!

Then kids ask for a bigger home to house a bigger family than what their
baby boomer parents had and they're told they're greedy. Give me a friggin'
break!

Isn't growth all about a better standard of living for each Australian?

At times I feel ashamed to be a baby boomer.

The massive debt bubble Australia carries just
grows bigger. A very strange "prosperity" that
is all based on massive borrowing.

--------------

Too hard to confront:
Australian HOUSEHOLD Debt reaches 100% of GDP!

*
http://www.crikey.com.au/2009/07/17/park-the-debt-truck-household-debt-reaches-100-of-gdp/
*

...Government debt is not what we should be worrying
about. What is more concerning is private debt...

I know that you vegetables want to kill any information
that suggests that the status quo is in error, or that
maybe bipartisan policies and dogmas are taking
Australians over a steep socioeconomic cliff.

------------------------------------

Household Debt:

100.4% Of GDP

Aussies $1.2 trillion in debt

In a new record, Australians now owe more in
household debt than the country's entire economy
earns in a year.

Reserve Bank figures show mortgage, credit card
and personal loan debts now stand at $1.2 trillion,
up 71 per cent from just five years ago and equating
to $56,000 for every man, woman and child in the
country, News Ltd says.

Our spending binge, fuelled most recently by the
federal government's First Home Owner Grant,
means personal debt now totals 100.4 per cent of
Australia's annual GDP - one of the highest ratios in
the developed world.

"It's the first time household debt has cracked 100
per cent of annual GDP and it's a terrible, terrible
sign," University of NSW economics professor Steve
Keen told News Ltd.

"It shows we are living beyond our means and many
highly geared borrowers are now extremely
vulnerable to further rate rises - they are already
saturated with debt and will not be able to tolerate
much of an increase to their repayments."

Australia's financial headache is likely to get worse
before it gets better. The country is in the midst of
the peak spending season, when billions goes on the
plastic, yet the Reserve Bank data dates back to
October's debt levels only, so that means there are
another two months of First Home Owner
Grant-fuelled mortgage activity still to be taken into
account.

The extra cost is expected to add billions to the
burgeoning debt tally.

Make Australia a sustainable nation again. We do
not need millions of immigrants added to our
overpopulation. It's time for a national
moratorium on feral immigration. Let's stop
flooding Australia with unsustainable amounts of
surplus third world flesh, merely to benefit the
relaxed political maggots.
Like the Federal Government, Australia's
immigration industry has provided an abundance of
hysteria, but no concrete evidence to justify the
bringing in of so many bodies.
The "winner take all" bulk immigration driven
property market society is worse than insane. The
billionaire friendly megalomaniacal globalist
politicians live only to appease the breeding
locusts. Prosperity and justice have taken a
severe beating.
