Why would it mean that?

I agree that show was lame, though.

Wow!! So, can you tell us who's going to win the Melbourne Cup in
November, or the league or AFL grand finals ... I'd like to get a bet
on

(Considering the Archi is *NOT* announced until next Friday 24 March).

Bugger ... the time machine is on the blink *again*. So I could give you the
results of the Melb Cup but I couldn't guarantee them. Hope you understand
:-)

I stand corrected

Yes, I mis-heard the radio report.

Yep. It was far too good to win the main prize - you could actually tell
who the subject was.

This years big prize should go to a head-only watercolour/pencil type
piece based on past experience.

Last year's was a full body (albeit a potato) in a landscape (albeit an
Arnhem Land refuse site) painted (I use the term lossely) in oils - with
texture. This year's winner, if the politics holds true, should be just a
head/face and should lack texture - which usually means
watercolour/pastel/drawing or maybe acrylic brushed out smooth.

I'm predicting "Craig Ruddy. Self-portrait - into the box" though it's
hard to tell from the web if it is too textural.
