PROLOG is a Natural at generating code...

here the answer should be PNT ( 1 , ANY )

I see a pattern developing.

I came across a group of AI people who were using a Prolog interpreter
which was written in LISP, which in turn was running on a Pop3
interpreter.

I suspect, sometimes, that AI people come up with the least efficient use
of computer power they can devise so that they can blame their failures
on lack of computer power.

You may be onto something, but I think a lot of it is an odd mix of
buzzword compliance and hipsterism. If you meet those people again, you
should consider explaining to them the wonders of Forth. Surely they
can't consider their work complete, having left out yet another
obsolete, impractical tool.

With Graham, it's more likely that his choice of tools is a result of
his crippling mental illness, so we should judge him gently. After all,
it's amazing in a way that he can, after years of debugging, get
anything at all. And, of course, he must be constantly distracted with
worry and guilt over the fact that he still owes Brad $1000.

If you really want to impress them, suggest that they do Business AI
using COBOL, which is up-to-date as of just a few months ago:

All it does it take COBOL and translate it into C. I don't see how
that's of any value. Just program in C to begin with! Duh!

You mean the fundamental 'complexity explosion' when expanding AI
applications to work on larger domains is really just an excuse for
"It doesn't work on much!"

Block Prolog will be completed on schedule!

It's now up to proving

Wow! That will be handy if I ever type dog + 1 by mistake.

You are simply devising another method of seeing things that aren't
there so you can accuse sane people of being against you.

You are mentally ill Graham, that is the *only* explanation you need.
