If one accepts the "Top 10", then the result looks reasonable.
(though I can't for the life of me understand how pavlova did not make,
at least, the top 3)
Be interesting to know on what criteria the top 10 was selected.
There is a mix of players and player / leaders; some characters and other
quiet ball-getters.
Brisbane are well represented.
Come to think of it, most come from the (so called) "interstate" clubs.
Thought Aker would draw more votes.
Obviously Voss is taking votes away from him - but then Voss would (one
thinks) meet most of the criteria in the categories I mentioned - well
maybe not as a "quiet" ball-getter ;).
Merry Christmas to all
And may your football teams finish close behind the Eagles in September
2010 ;-P

> foxsports.com.au users decide the AFL player of the decade
........
Anything like this should be done at least 3 years after any decade so the
handicap of fresh memories of the last season or two is diluted and all
players over the whole period get a fairer go.

Knowledge is a measure of how many answers you have, intelligence is a
measure of how many questions you have.
I'll nominate Hird, best I've seen since Blight and
Jesaulenko, Kouta would have given him a run for his
money with good knees.
Buckley, Archer, Ricciuto, Ablett, Judd, Richardson,
Riewoldt, Goodes, Brown

Voss was over rated IMO.
