That would be a little disappointing for him

Port Adelaide's David Rodan will undergo a knee reconstruction that
will destroy his hopes of playing a part in the 2010 AFL season.

The exciting midfielder went down on his left knee at training on
Wednesday morning, and an MRI scan confirmed he had torn his anterior
cruciate ligament.

In 2007, he had surgery on his right knee while playing for Richmond.

The Power's football manager Peter Rohde says everyone is shocked by
the injury.

"It was completely out of the blue and if anyone that has seen him
play would know that he changes direction very powerfully and zigs and
zags a lot in his game," he said.

"This was a very innocuous incident and who knows why, but for some
reason his knee gave way

Yes, but at least he knows exactly what he has to go through, and that he
can successfully get through it.

Sound exactly like when he did the first one down in Morwell (which I
saw), he was just running around like normal and then he was hobbling -
and that was it.
