Star Trek books and the Amazon Kindle

Hi there,

I have just ordered the international release version of the Kindle. One
of the problems is that due to copyright problems, not all the Star Trek
books which can be purchased by US readers for their Kindle can be
purchased in Australia.

I understand the books can be downloaded to a Mac or PC and then
transferred across. Does anyone know if this will fix this problem of
getting access to the books that cannot be purchased via our 3G network
in Australia?
