Lets change the colours and the uniforms. That will fix every thing.

At least sign writers and decal makers will get some work out it. Rather doubt anything much will change on the day to day operation of the trains and buses.

They missed out on a chance to change the name, which is another
standard substitute for doing something useful. But perhaps they're
leaving that for another day, which will give an opportunity to change
the signs and uniforms yet again.

Do you remember how much better the trains ran when they changed from Indian Red to blue
and white? ;-)

I was a bit young to remember the Shirley era, living in 'The Shire', and walking to school. (Didn't even catch a 'school bus'. I walked. Alone or with my siblings). I didn't have much interaction with the Blue and White trains and buses of the time.

They were Tuscan Red, then blue and white, and finally Indian Red. A lucky
few cars missed getting the blue paint altogether.

It was not uncommon in the 1980's to see single deck sets with all three
colour schemes on the one train.
