That train reached up to 115km/hr with this female perched on top of it.

"Detective Inspector Mick Stoltenberg says it was incredibly dangerous."

Really? Doesn't that rather depend on how she went about it? The obvious
dangers are being hit by something overhead, or falling off. She could
have checked that she was within the loading guage, and tethered herself
to make falling off impossible. Then she'd get a ride that is pointless
and uncomfortable, but not dangerous.

However, danger is not an element of the charge against her, and I don't
doubt she'll be convicted.

Sylvia.

Funny thing is she wanted to go to Adelaide. The silly woman caught the wrong train.

It's and 8 to 10 hour run between Broken Hill and Parkes and some services
to a clear run the whole way and don't stop. So I hope see was prepared for
that? If she had fallen off, there's a good chance see won't be seen laying
next to the track by following trains and if the fall didn't kill her, there
a good chance she would have died from exposure before being found. A very
silly thing to do. But it seems to be catching on lately, as last week, two
girls with the luggage were found on a Melbourne bound freighter at Harden.
I'm told their location on the freight wagon wasn't all that sensible
either. But anyone catching a ride on a container train can't be all that
bright either!

There's been another one this week. Drivers of PS6 reported a stowaway
riding on there train consist. The stowaway was sighted by drivers of train
NP3 whilst doing a roll-by inspection at Ivanhoe. Train PS6 pulled up at
Ivanhoe. A male with bleached blonde hair, shoulder bag and blue jumper
jumped from PS6, ran under train NP3 and headed off towards Ivanhoe town.
