Jackson Browne will not be included in Los Angeles' September 14 concert featuring the all-star band of Bonnie Raitt, Shawn Colvin and Bruce Hornsby. Browne is normally included in the show, but he is having a "Y2K problem."
Browne will be joining The Eagles and Linda Rondstadt for the New Year's Eve show at the Staples Center and according to Los Angeles Times, his contract forbids him from playing an advertised show in the same area. The contract does not prevent him from possibly taking the stage as a "surprise guest." When asked about the situation, Raitt said, "I can't get into it; I can't talk about it."
