Someone's had a dummy spit - see the response to an enquiry.
Newbie doesn't do themselves any favours .......
LOL !
Yep. You see overpriced gear on ebay from time to time, and it is not
worth pointing that out to the sellers. They usually know darn well,
and are just trying it on to see if someone bites. When the stuff
doesn't sell, they might get the message.
A dummy spit and naming and banning an ebayer is taking things a
little far though :-)
Tell him he's dreaming
Someone already has and that's why the dummy spit.
The FT101z ia a bit high,. I remember aboput 20 years ago, you could pick
thtem up for $500 and he wants $420 starting
There is a couple of antique radios there, the IC-22a, haven't seen one of
those for 20 years or so, or an IC-02a
Well the listing was pulled, then reappeared with the comments deleted
but still wanting $400 starting. Then I was surprised to see yesterday
someone had put in the minimum bid of $400 with a couple of days to
go, and now the listing has been pulled again "This listing (nn) has
been removed, or this item is not available". Looked for it under
"completed listings" and interestingly the item showed zero bids.
All the other items from the same seller have also been removed, most
of which all had a single bid for the starting amount. A couple had a
few more bids, but they've all gone ..........
Been caught shill bidding, by the sounds of it.
