Radioplayer with Firefox?

I found that radio player tool on the web

but it is hardly getting to work with firefox. Does it really need some
software add-ins or could it also work by changing only a few settings in
Firefox options?

firefox on what OS? I use mediaplayerconnectivity addon here on
fedora 11 utilising xine/xmms np.
