"THE State Government has been accused of abandoning regional Queensland and
being out of touch with problems outside the southeast.
As the fallout from the Cairns tourism crisis intensified yesterday,
business and community leaders united to condemn the lack of government
support for the far north.

They claimed economic damage caused by the Qantas decision to slash flights
between Japan and Cairns highlighted the Government's failure to address the
needs of the rest of the state.

"I certainly feel we have been dudded," businesswoman and Commerce
Queensland president Beatrice Booth said.

"The Government should have been better prepared for this situation. It
certainly shows they don't know what is happening in this part of
Queensland."

Well then, perhaps people shouldn't vote for useless, out of touch Labour
Govts.

LOL! Why not? We've already got fool watch and whale watch. When else
will labour come up with?

I've had a problem with my watch keeping time. Can labour start a
watch watch?
