"JOURNALIST: The claim in The Australian that you received $5000 in your
bank account, is that true?

PM: I have read today's Australian and having read today’s Australian
closely, there is not one *substantiated* allegation in today's
Australian. It does not contain one allegation of wrongdoing by me".

The Australian...
"In a *statutory declaration* signed in Melbourne on Sunday and in
*lengthy interviews* with The Australian over the past fortnight, Mr Hem
declared he had deposited the money after being given the account
details of Ms Gillard along with a wad of $100 and $50 notes by Mr
Wilson, an official in the AWU's Victorian branch".
...
"Mr Hem said that he first spoke of the bank deposit to Mr Cambridge on
June 7, 1996, during a car journey in Melbourne at a time when the AWU
joint national secretary was conducting a relentless inquiry into
alleged fraud.

The June 7, 1996, diary entry by Mr Cambridge states: 'During the course
of the conversation with Wayne Hem he told me about an event that took
place in about July last year (1995)'.

'This event involved Bruce Wilson handing Wayne an envelope which
contained approximately $5000 in $100 and $50 notes and Wilson
instructed Hem to deposit this $5000 into a personal account of Julia
Gillard'.
...
The Australian has verified the authenticity of the diary with Mr
Cambridge, who has described it as a 'contemporaneous record of events
and discussions that occurred during 1995 and 1996'".

Julia Gillard...
"The Australian newspaper has spent months and months and months in
'so-called' investigative journalism looking at this matter. And after
all of those months and months and months of looking, there is not one
*substantiated* allegation of wrongdoing by me".

Well shucks, Sherlock - HOW BLOODY WELL 'SUBSTANTIATED' DOES IT NEED TO BE?

Ain't *NO-ONE* gonna miss question time next week - nosir!!!

"Well I say to the leader of the opposition with this smear day after
day, is this really getting on with the things that matter?"

Ms Gillard said she would continue to pursue her vision for Australia's
future.

"The *Liberal Party* can throw anything they like at me and I will still
be standing here pursuing that vision for the future," she said.

Well helloooo ... the investigation was conducted by The Australian, the
whistleblower was an ex-AWU member and the story was published in The
Australian.

Notice that she specifically refused to answer directly the
allegations regarding the $5,000-00.

All she has to do is to provide an explanation. What is she hiding?
--

Where were the same "shocked and horrified" protesters when Bob Ellis,
ALP member and speech writer for Bob "Do Nothing" Carr said this about
Duck's Bum after her father's death?

"She fled an important conference, and a meeting with Vladimir Putin,
because her father had died at 83, and fled home weeping to Adelaide.

Leaving a battlefield because of a dear one's death is not what she
lets our soldiers do. They must stay, and fight to the battle's end.
Yet she thinks she is different somehow. She is allowed her girly
tears and her time off, playing hookey from her national obligations,
her duty".

And what about this scurrilous tweet from Bowen's wife, Rebecca
Mifsud?

"Alan Jones age 71. Avergae (sic) lifespan for an Australian male age
79. Patience my pretties #auspol bahahaha"

That's because she has already not answered them!
