"The Land without Muslims"

The Japanese do not feel the need to apologize to Muslims for the
negative way in which they relate to Islam.

The article says:

"The official policy of Japan is not to give citizenship to Muslims who
come to Japan, and even permits for permanent residency are given
sparingly to Muslims.
Japan forbids exhorting people to adopt the religion of Islam (Dawah),
and any Muslim who actively encourages conversion to Islam is seen as
proselytizing to a foreign and undesirable culture."

It is interesting to note the stark difference between the Japanese
policy and, for instance, the Swedish policy, which subsidizes muslim
organizations with very substantial amounts of tax money. Muslims are
also encouraged to remain Arabic-speaking through extra courses in
Arabic in Swedish schools. In Europe, we seem to strive after a
splitting of Western civilization into diverse cultural enclaves. This
is called multiculturalism. Evidently, the Japanese aren't fond of this
ideology, which most people in the Western world view as self-evident
and quite natural. It is remarkable the extent to which people's
consciousness can be moulded by ideological means, whether Nazism,
Communism, multiculturalism, etc. Whereas animals always listen to their
natural instincts and intuitive faculty, human beings have the capacity
to completely shut out this guiding force of the unconscious. I don't
know what makes the Japanese different, however.

A few minutes checking would have shown you that this article is
nonsense. It is repeated every few years by anti-Muslim bloggers and
you can find it word for word on a couple of thousand web sites. Like
all the others you didn't check the facts because you are desperate to
believe any anti-Muslim rubbish you can find.

It says that "Japanese leaders rarely visit Muslim countries" but the
Japanese Prime Minister was in the Middle East a couple of months ago
<http://www.mofa.go.jp/region/page6e_000028.html>. Here's a list of
senior leaders, including the Japanese Prime Minister, traveling
between Japan and Indonesia
<http://www.mofa.go.jp/region/asia-paci/indonesia/>.

In contrast to the rubbish in the blog the Japanese seem to have no
problem with proselytising and can get a free Quran in Japanese from
<http://www.japanesemuslims.com/>.

I thought it was a newspaper that I cited from: "The Jewish Press: News
of the Jews, Israel & the World." I googled a sentence and got only
recent hits from 2013, which link to the article. I don't believe that
it has been around for years. In what way does the article disparage
Islam?

I thought it was strange that the Japanese were so different than us in
this respect. If it's a lie, then that explains it. But can a newspaper
really fabricate lies like this and keep their good name? I am baffled.

If you try reading The Daily Mail (and manage to retain your sanity)
you will become enlightened.

Newspapers do not exist to tell the truth, they exist to make
profits. They make profits by selling newspapers. They sell
newspapers to people who share their world view.

Newspaper buyers don't mind if their paper lies to them as long as
their view of what they know is really happening is reinforced.

I apologise. There was a viral email years ago that had a very similar
theme but not the same text. Here's a copy that Google dates as
September 11 2001 (!)
<http://www.strangecosmos.com/content/item/188070.html>. The email was
so widespread that the Japanese Foreign Ministry published a
pro-Muslim piece in 2008 without mentioning the email
<http://www.mofa.go.jp/dispatches/vol07/perspectives.html>. The
article you referenced was apparently originally compiled from similar
misinformation and written in Hebrew so I was wrong
<http://israelagainstterror.blogspot.co.il/2013/05/mordechai-kedar-country-without-muslims.html>.

Why is that relevant? Anyway, the answer is "estimated the number of
ethnic Japanese Muslims in Japan at 63,552, and around 70,000 -
100,000 foreign Muslims"

>How many imams?

What a weird question. Do you know the number of imams in any country
in the world?

Well, I realize now that the article gives a skewed picture of reality.
The Japanese have a negative view of foreigners, regardless if they are
Muslims or not. The Japanese authorities don't bother about religious
affiliation and they keep no statistics of it. In year 2000 there were
perhaps 150,000 practicing Muslims in Japan, although the figure is
uncertain.

What a weird thought process you have. The Imams are the opinion leaders

Change the word "Muslim" for "Jew" in the above article and it could

Yes, Nazis love a monoculture, don't they?

If you are commenting on the Japanese attitude to foreign cultures, you
are probably right - it could be the same.

But the article is about the effect of those cultures on the target
country. The evidence is that Muslim-dominated countries are not
successful by economic or any other objective measure.

The irony and hypocrisy of a Nazi idiot commenting on bigotry is ...
well, understandable. You are like the Model-T Ford - "You can have any
colour as long as its ..." oops!

I've watched that circulated Japanese news service intermittently in the
past. A couple of years or so ago I was as surprised as anyone to see a
series of reports on the various foreign communities residing there. Not
just students and trainees, but those filling a need for cheap factory
labor. I really should not have been startled that a country as
dependent upon a flow of natural resources as they are, would bend over
backwards to accommodate Middle Eastern migrants and apply ample social
lubricant to relations with oil suppliers. Needless to say, they have
also jumped very obediently to appease China whenever the latter's rare
earth mineral exports are waved about as a threat.

But if that hairy patch of "People's Republic" on the Korean Peninsula
keeps wildly defecating test missiles over the Asian lawn, a
technological marvel like Nippon could nuke-up and wield a big club
fairly quickly. The expected policeman admonitions from China that their
local pets must behave properly in the backyard or "You will merely
bruise us, whereas we will wipe you utterly out" would be rather empty.
No sane power truly desires to demonstrate their exaggerated capacity to
shrug-off such bruising. (But a "sane status", of course, goes out the
window regarding that L'enfant terrible which provokes these
possibilities; there can be a fine line between carrying on antics to
get attention and then in one reality-impaired day of ideological fever
actually believing the mock hubris).

Well because you are one-eyed, you must have only one perspective on the
situation.

What I see is an author from a country which has repelled countless
Muslim-inspired attacks, pointing to another country which has *no*
*Muslim* *issues* and asking the question.

He could have pointed to Sweden instead:
https://www.google.com.au/search?q=muslim+riots+sweden&tbm=isch&biw=1440&bih=815&sei=LX67UfW3IYeXigfS7YCgCA

http://www.barenakedislam.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/LiveLeak-dot-com-011e6cd0dba6-beat_up.jpg.resized.jpg

Bt being a typical one-eyed Nazi boi, you jumped straight onto the usual
bash-the-Jooz bandwagon.

Perhaps you'd like to point out equivalent cases of Jooish migration eh?

Or instead, maybe you should wise-up and listen/learn from people who
have been dealing with the problem for over 60 years already.
