Just wondering if any old Service Station garage can perform Pink Slips for
Bikes? I guess all the major bike stores would be able to do this... (I've
seen it painted on SydneyCity @ lane cove).. but I already know what's gonna
happen when i ring them..

"Hrmm yep.. we'll have to book you in, earliest.. is .. 3 weeks..."

To avoid the above... where can I get my bike inspected ?!

In my experience Sydney City @ Lane Cove can fit you in pretty quickly for
servicing etc. Tyre repairs are done while you wait, pink slip can't be much
worse. Action in the city always are pretty busy mind you. Worth having a go
surely?

Ask at any of the places that do cars, many also do bikes and have no idea what
to check so you breeze in and out quickly.
Don't try getting it on a Saturday or you might have to wait around.
Lloyd Penn does 'em and is not real busy at the moment.

Yes, any servo can do it. Most don't give the bike much of a
lookover.

I get mine done at a repair place just down ther road from me who does
blueslips as well.

My car mechanic does the pink slip for my bike - he doesn't know anything
about them but does know that I keep it in tip top condition. He's in
Blacktown area if that is any help.
