Never wanting to disappoint, I obtained the following from my archive. He
had a segment on Extra last year from which I got the following info:

REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT
Andrew Carr, has based his financial consultancy on nothing but property and
says done properly there's no better place to put your money than in bricks
and mortar.  "Five years ago, I was in debt $14,000. I drove an old car and
I started everything on three and a half thousand on a credit card."  These
days his nett worth is somewhere between three and four million dollars and
it's all come from astute property investment.   Chris and Melissa Healy
bought a Lutwyche house a year ago on Andrew's advice and made some cosmetic
improvements such as a lick of paint, a bit of landscaping and a new fence.
They're now planning to use the equity they have in the house to finance
their next property investment.  Nine years ago Jane Walker of Sandgate lost
her husband and gained a huge debt.  Jane told Andrew her goal was to have a
property portfolio worth $3 million within five years and she's half way
there.  While financial guru, Noel Whittaker feels shares are safer and more
flexible, he agrees that the real estate market is on the move.  All agree,
when you're talking about your financial future, seeking professional advice
from a reputable financial planner is extremely advisable.  The last word
though to Jane Walker who says "The worst thing you can do is nothing."
