Hi chaps

I've having a massive downsizing sale. The following is for sale. Feel free
to make me an offer. Local pickup (Canberra) gets preference.

1) Garrard 301 turntable (oil bearing) with original rubber mat, hardback
manual and mounting template. Serial number 37115 (schedule 51400/2). There
is a small chip (5mm x 5mm) at the front which has taken the top layer of
paint off (so it's not very noticeable), otherwise it is in excellent
condition. No rumble or noise in operation. This is a very well looked after
turntable (I got it from a deceased estate sale).

2) Garrard 401 turntable in excellent cosmetic condition. The bad news is
that it is very rumbly (it spent its life in a radio station). I suspect
this can be fixed or
perhaps it just needs opening up and cleaning/lubricating. I can't see any
obvious problems. No other accessories. Serial number 43847. This turntable
is currently in a well-made solid (hernia-inducing) black plinth which comes
free with the turntable, but only if you pick it up.

3) Alphason HR100S tonearm. Note that the following parts are missing: arm
base (it uses a standard Linn arm base), bias weight, internal wiring,
cable.

4) Grace G-840F tonearm with original headshell. No cable.

5) Audio Technica AT-1100 tonearm.

6) Nagra III reel-to-reel tape recorder with Beyer M69 microphone in
original leather case (the case has seen better days). I'm not sure if this
works because I have no way of testing it. All the parts appear present,
but it has some corrosion around the battery compartment. There are
some scuff marks on the upper section (photos will show this).

7) Pair of JBL 2404H bi-radial horn tweeters in original packaging. These
have been
lightly used in my experimental horn setup (they were only ever driven with
a SET amp). Serial numbers 30626/30629 (Feb 1988 manufacture). Original
mounting bolts and mounting cord.

8) Pair of original JBL 2482 diaphragms. These were purchased secondhand and
have
not been used by me, so I don't know if they work, but they test OK.

9) JBL 2440 compression drivers x 3 (one of which has been remagnetized)
(pick up only).

10) Sansui 500A tube receiver - good for parts only (pick up only).

11) Marantz SA8260 SACD player - good for parts only (pick up only).

12) Audio Note DAC 1.1 kit (completed by me).

13) Pair of Fostex FT17H tweeters in original packaging. These have been
lightly used in my experimental horn setup (they were only ever driven with
a SET amp).

Contact me for more info or pics.

Cheers :-)

Doug
