Another typical Labor quote on the radio this morning: "You know,
Australians have had it pretty good through this global crisis and they've
been looking forward to growth so that they can have much higher interest
rates."
Bullshit. This country is being utterly destroyed by robbing it blind and
dumping tens of thousands of uneducated gooks here and giving them
complimentary centrelink payments. Successive labor governments destroying
this country like bulls in a China shop - when will it ever end?

The speaker probably loans out money and would just love the interest
they can charge to rise and it was the labor governments who made the
hard economic decisions that made this country very economically
competitive.

Yeah I guess it is fairly typical for Australians to not have it too bad
during a global crisis with a Labor gov't. The 1991 recession a good
example.

I thought gooks referred to Asians, but Howard is your mass uneducated
immigrant man - ask him WTF.

As is competitive you mean "extremely difficult to survive" for Australian
companies

True, we have far less manufacturing companies around that would only
have been saved by protective tariffs. Fancy minimum price $50K for any
car? We would be in a worse state than NZ.

OTOH, we have some manufacturing companies that are far better than USA
companies and European companies.

I saw greeting cards recently, made in China up to and many at $5.
The only Australian cards were in the $1 section.
Sometimes cheap prices are just about destroying local industries, a bit
like the way Coles and Woollies operate.

Labor is quite right I love high interest rates because they equal
higher income. At least 5% please ASAP
