banana mangoes, good flavour?

It's still early days in the mango season, so Kensington Pride prices
are still out of reach. A local fruit shop has a long skinny type of
mango I've not seen before, labelled Banana Mangoes, 5 for $10.

That's too expensive to risk sampling them. If you know these, how
would you describe their flavour? How much of their bulk is seed?
They may not even be Australian produce, I just assumed they are.

BTW, aren't the Calypso mangoes a disappointment? I bet no one gets
caught twice!

Probably come from Fiji or Asia. There should be a sign on them stating country of
origin.
