such gems as -

It has absolutely none of the charm, depth or intelligence of the fantasy
classics- like Lord of the Rings or Narnia

I guess we're supposed to overlook the fact that our heroes' actual
historical activities usually consisted of raping nuns and slaughtering
anyone with a bank account or a crucifix.

It's just Communist propaganda wrapped in a confused and ugly imitation of a
fairy tale.

I'm used to high quality foreign films, Hero, Curse of the Golden Flower,
Crouching Tiger, etc.....

If you liked Saw or Hostel and wished it had more of a historical angle, you
might like this movie.

First, it's in Spanish and nowhere on the DVD case did it show the movie was
in Spanish with English subtitles.
