Subject: Best DVD burning software?
Recently I had a computer failure. Reasons are irrelevant but it meant that the
HDD was rooted.

I now need to rebuild it, starting with DVD burning software.

In the past we have used Nero Burning ROM and Nero Vision Express to create our
DVDs.

I haven't kept up with what's the latest and greatest out there. So, what do you
guys recommend?

Needs will vary from burning avi files to playable DVDs to the archiving of DVDs
(where kids will have the most opportunities to turn them into coasters) and to
create avi/mp4s for playing in media players.

A Meltdown?  One of those annoying buzzwords. We prefer to think of it as an unrequested fission surplus!

I still use Nero.

I don't use Nero to author, just to burn.

1ClickDVD is one of the best programs around. Used in conjunction with DV43
it never failed me yet.
