Where is everyone ?

Are DVDs dying due to over-exposure and sales decline ? What about
Blu-ray ? I personally don't think it's worth the investment.

All Australian newsgroups, at least all the ones I subscribe to, are
moribund.

I don't think it is either.
I have more than enough to watch, all acceptable to my vision.

Why?

Speaking of which, I'm looking at a basic blu-ray player as a present for my
wife. She has a few BR box sets in her Amazon wish lists as well as a few
movies, including Broke Butt Mountain. I'd watch that one in BR if only to see
how the cinematography for which it one an Oscar, looks in BR on our new full HD
display.

It seems that BR titles are about the same price as DVD ones. So, if we get a BR
player then anything new will be in that format.
