VW's used to float, Veyron's don't

For those that hadn't read about it a guy dumped his Veyron in to a sea
water lagoon, claiming he was startled by a Pelican, but was also on his
mobile. Attached link to the story with a link to elsewhere with a video of
it happening and one of it's recovery.

I liked the bit where it says the engine gurgled like an outboard motor
for 15mins before it died, was he trying to drive it out?, idiot.

saltwater is lovely stuff, even if the car is hosed down straight away
they still have to replace most of the electrics and computers, hmmm, a
cheap Veyron on eBay maybe ;)
