Just a pdf file (3MB) that was sent to me, not sure of the exact story
behind it, but the picture is pretty much self-explanatory... especially
with the gas bottles laying there :)

I saw this on the news just recently. Something about a gas bottle filling
the van with gas and when they used the remote to lock/unlock the van the
thing exploded.

The gas bottles didn't explode or they would have been ruptured

there would more than like, been a gas leak
I think it blew up when the apprentice plumber came to get the van, he
operated the remote door opener, then it blew

house next door was for sale and where it blew up was not the best looking
house in the street with cars, boats and vans parked everywhere
Maybe a pissed-off neighbour opened the valves during the night who didn't
expect that reaction??

Its amazing to see what was damaged - and what wasnt.
The ute parked directly in front of the van looks unscathed.

Ah well, my Victorian source was wrong. Should I have expected more
from someone living over there?
