Saw this on a black VR commodore.

BLKCAR.

I'm read it as "black car" but the owner probably thinks it reads as something
else.

Another crap one on a black XRsomething AU Falcon:
FULISH (I think that reads "foolish" which is pretty foolish if you
ask me).

The sitch is different in Seppoland. It varies state to state, but the
cost for personalised plates is generally quite low. Here in Michigan, it
runs $25 extra -- that is a one-time fee when you buy the plates. This is
a one-plate (rear-only) state, and for an additional $5.00 you can get an
extra ("front") plate to hang on the wall of your favourite bar or on the
ceiling next to the mirrors above your bed or whatever.

I had a very fast turbo Dodge. It had a regular plate, but if I hadn't
sold it I'd've put "ADODGIO" on it.

My '91 ex-police Caprice was UH BEAR, and the new owner put PULLOVR on it.
My '92 Chrysler is EH BEAR.

If I had a BMW I might like a BMW number plate, so I have nothing against
number plates that refer to the model of the car or the make of the car, but
just the colour seems a bit pointless.

I'm not a fan of clever acronyms.

well at least the initial cost is only $300 then if u dont want it the next
year, you dont pay. the other advantage is that theres more chance that
'good' ones will come back on the market.

In QLD its over $2000 (one off) no ifs, no buts for all letters, so most ppl
cant afford $2k+ for plates so you have to get imaginative with
letters'n'numbers.
