Was driving the old bucket of bolts home on Friday, and was on a good
section of road where the Hilux can maintain 100km/h, which is the
speed limit. There was a Commodore sitting patiently behind me (at the
correct distance too, which was nice) so I obviously wasn't holding
anyone up.

Then I notice a white CRV overtakes him, so I start thinking about
where/when I can let this guy past me. I now realise it's a she
because she stormed right up behind me and filled my mirror. I'm still
doing 100 so she can't complain too much.

We get to an overtaking opportunity and around she goes. Once she's
past, but not yet back on the left side of the road, her front and
back passengers stick their arms out the window and repeatedly curl
and straighten their little finger a few times. Note - not the middle
finger, the little finger.

WTF does that mean? Were they trying to immitate the indicator
flashing on and off?

when it's appropriate :-)

LOL. Ironic, considering if they were able to see my dick from outside
the vehicle, it follows that it would hardly be small :)

Well, when they gave you the "nobody thinks big of you"
gesture you should have immediately responded with this. Where
the hell the 'Lux would have ended up I don't know.

It means that they've seen some NSW RTA advertisements such as this one

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvC6RryUn0Y

but totally failed to get the point.

Sylvia.

They're speeding and into self affirmation perhaps? :)

Did they have the obligatory 'Bad Girl' sticker on the back or is that only
reserved for hooning Hyundais? Sounds like the female equivalent of a
dickhead riceboy to me.

As mentioned, the 'small dick' thing. Perhaps they were trying to be
ironic, since it was they who were doing the speeding. You should've
nudged them off the road :)

:But the "small dick" advertising campaign didn't actually feature
:any activities that could be identified as occurring above the speed
:limit... There were "hooning" activities such as deliberately
:fishtailing along the road, inattention (failing to stop for the
:woman on the pedestrian crossing) and generally typical driving for
:a poorly trained young male driver, but no speeding. The only
:mention of speeding was in the tag line at the end of the ad, where
:they said "Speeding. Nobody thinks big of you" or some such. It
:would have made more sense to use the word hooning instead of
:speeding, as the tag line would then have related to the content of
:the ad.

That explains where I got the 'speeding' reference from - the billboards
- since I avoid TV at every possible opportunity.

I'm no prude, but that particular campaign really pisses me off, if only
for the double standards (in the PC sense) and boganesque aspect of it.
I'm kinda amazed they ran it, actually.

or a pedestrian safety campaign that pillories the woman who steps off the
kerb onto a crossing in front of the Celica (wasn't it?) without looking
at all. She had to step back from the approaching car because of her
stupidity &/or lack of awareness and not, from the look of things, because
it was speeding.
