New Civic looks worse than old model?

Does anyone have an option about the new Civic's styling?
I think it looks terrible. The sharp lines reminds me of 80's styling.
At least, from reports, mechanics have improved.

The US version of the Honda Civic, 1992-1995, is a handsome car. The
1996 model includes larger headlights that give the vehicle an odd look,
a creature from outer space perhaps. Perhaps we are talking about the
same transformation. Eric
