Do you have a dream to walk across Australia from West to East?
Well, here's my inspiration, Deanna Sorensen who had a dream, made a
plan, and walked 5,000-km across Australia. She walked alone, without
a support crew, pushing her tent, food and water in a Baby Jogger:

Please click on the link to Deanna Sorensen's website and browse
'Press Room' in the side bar for detailed information.
Please reply you interest to form a group to cross Australia from west
to east? Specific details for the group's crossing would be decided
collectively.
Cheers

Now, doing it accross the bush/outback is harder, let's say Shark Bay
(steep point) to Byron Bay (from cape to cape)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:AustraliaMap_Extremities.PNG
And doing it Jon Muir style (no resupply of food nor water, living
from the land or from the supplies brought at the start) is VERY hard.
The person (or team) who'll do that will become legends.
Dogs allowed :)
Now, if you're interested in walking across Australia, why are you
posting from Belgium?
Because all the locals know it is a piece of cake. The rest of the world
thinks Bear Grills is genuine.
Hint, for water, you just go in the wet years.
...and wear your floaties.

Really just need to get the right wax for red and black mud and you
could ski across.
