I like shitting...do you?
I like shitting. Do you like shitting more than me? I like it heaps. I reckon I like it more than you do, but I don't know how much you like shitting so I can't be sure. Tell me how much you like shitting so I can know if I like it more than you do. That is all.

Sydney to Gong Ride
I did this ride for the first time ever and I must say I enjoyed it :) 3hrs 40mins was my time to the Gong and I was a bit slow compared to this other fellow who said he did 3hrs 2 mins. Anyway, there were kids on their bikes who seemed to have got in BEFORE either of us so I guess there is really nothing to brag about on our part.... more »

St Helena (mtb ride, Blue Mountains) closed indefinitely
Closed for roadworks wef 31/10/09, until further notice. Roadworks and singletrack tend not to go together, so I expect the ride to be ruined for more experienced riders. So sad. It will be sweet, technical, overgrown, *legal* singletrack (something that is in very short supply), no more. :^( Tony F... more »

I wonder what the clause was?
Cadel Evans managed to find a clause in his contract according to the ABC news, and he's leaving the team. I think next year was to be his last year otherwise. Interesting times.

Gay Paris 2011
Anyone contemplating the next Paris Brest Paris in 2011 needs to be aware that the entry requirements are now stricter. In addition to the usual 200, 300, 400 & 600km rides in the six months from Nov to May prior to the event, there is now an additional pre-qualification criterion. Due to extraordinary numbers in 2007 you now need to do a 400 plus... more »

No Trains
It's going to interesting at Blacktown Station tomorrow (Sunday) morning. There are no trains running west of Blacktown due to trackwork, and the Sydney to Wollongong bike ride is on. This means all participating riders who live in the Blue Mountains, or Penrith or far western Sydney will be trying to get on a train at Blacktown... more »

Handlebar bag suggestions
I have a Den Haag handlebar bag which mounts on the handlebars but sits so high I can't put my Ayup lights on the bars. It also has a dicky plastic mount that doesn't handle the weight in the bag very well over a long distance and begins to tilt forward. I'm wondering whether there is an alternative handlebar bag available... more »
