QANTAS and other airlines will struggle to get compensation for taking
A380 super jumbos out of service to repair cracks in wing components
after a senior Airbus executive said it was not usual industry practice.

Airbus chief operating officer, customers, John Leahy said the European
manufacturer was willing to fix the problem with cracks in wing rib-feet
under warranty.

Either that or airlines who have ordered A380's will cancel their orders
which will hurt Airbus a lot more than paying compensation.
