I've sold my home and the buyer is expressing interest in paying to
keep my home cinema setup, which has at its heart the fab Sony VPL
HW10 hd projector.
My first instinct would be to buy the same again, but I've had it for
eight months now and haven't kept my eyes open to any new products on
the market. Is there anything in its price-range (sub - $4000) which
would give the Sony a run for its money?

Thanks for the info .. I'll seek out reviews for those models, though
right now I'm leaning towards the VPL HW15 -- if Sony ever get around
to launching it on this market! If it's better than my VPL HW10 it
must be outstanding!
cheers all
