I've done quite a bit of fiddling with the hack-bat in the past and I've always had to mess around with the source .svg quite a bit before it works like I want it to.

To help others (and myself) in the future with similar endeavors, I've created a version which is just a single "path", rather than several separate paths on top of eachother. This means that the black part is the actual path and the white parts are actually just holes in it.

I've attached the modified file for anyone who would like to use it.

Nice!

It does play a lot more nicely with my vector art viewer...

Also, while I'm at it, here's a .dxf version exported as nothing but straight lines suitable for all sorts of cad/cam stuff :D

It's centered at the origin so it will be centered if imported into stuff.

As an example of what you can do with this, you can import it into OpenSCAD and extrude it.

Here's a good example of the sort of thing you can use that .dxf for: http://skfb.ly/m3h2e0b

Also, a preview of the specific project I wanted this for in the first place: http://skfb.ly/m3h2ec

Oh my goodness, this is like the pot at the end of the rainbow. Working with the other logo file in graphics editors is fine, but when you try to do something physical with it everything kinda explodes.

Thanks Paul.
