Subject: amplee's future direction
Hi folks,

Some ideas gathered after discussing with Mohan and Eric.

http://trac.defuze.org/wiki/amplee/discussion/0.6
http://trac.defuze.org/wiki/amplee/discussion/0.7

These are just raw ideas and I need your input to organize and prioritize
the work that needs to be done on amplee in the next few weeks.

Note that the 0.6 branch will not see major refactoring done so be safe in
using it. The next major release 0.7 shouldn't see the light before
September I'd say.

Please be verbose in your thoughts as amplee needs to become more of a
community project than it currently is.

- Sylvain

Hey Sylvain,

Great start! What about the unit test coverage ? Where would that go 0.6- 0.7?

Mohan

Hi All,

I put a couple thoughts on the wiki in terms of indexing and how I've
been doing things with BC. Uche has been making some progress as well,
so hopefully I could get him to chime in on ideas as well.

Generally, I'm finding a parallel with how BC uses Amplee with 4Suite
Server with the biggest difference being BC uses Atom and 4SS uses
RDF. I mention it because I have a feeling some of the code could be
shared.

Overall though, everything really looks great!

Thanks Sylvain!

Eric
