The Master Mind Writers Group is for writers who have very specific goals in mind and just need a little support from a community of writers to help them reach their goals. We hold each other accountable to the goals we set for ourselves; weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly and five year goals. Any type of goals such as writing 5 pages a day to submitting for publication. We also offer suggestions, contacts, information and encouragement. And we celebrate your breakthroughs and successes. We also read each others work, if you care to submit it to the group, and offer critiques and encouragement. Submissions of more than five pages due Thursdays prior to meetings. Please bring at least one page to read during the meeting. And if time permits, at the end of the meeting, we also set life goals and offer the same type of support for our life goals that we do our writing goals.
We will be meeting every other Sunday (so as to get our week off to a great start) at 7:00 pm at the Atlanta Bread Company(GA 400 to exit 14, go west on Hwy 20 to Market Place Blvd, turn left. Starbucks and Atlanta Bread Company immediately on the Right) . We are currently accepting new members who are committed to attending the bi-weekly meetings and giving on-line support but most of all committed to their own career as a writer. The group is limited to around 8 - 10 members.
