My name is Erik with MATRIX here in Atlanta.  I wanted to get this out
before the weekend as this is one of my favorite clients to recruit for.  I
am searching for a top notch PHP developer for a 3+ month contract
opportunity in Midtown.  The contract rate is somewhat open and the length
of the project could be extended over time.  I don't believe there will be
much option for telecommute in this role but the client is typically
flexible on start and end times.

   - Experience as a developer on complex projects, considering
   implications across multiple systems, components
   - PHP 5+ with MVC frameworks – Zend preferred, Symfony, Silex, Doctrine
   1.2, PHP ORM
   - Skill working directly with client technologists and users on
   requirements, solution approaches and system functionality
   - Experience working with Drupal, Joomla and other Content Management
   Systems

   - Facebook API experience desirable
   - Broad LAMP stack experience

·         Linux command-line experience (e.g. RHEL 5, 6+) – managing of
cron jobs, bash scripting, general understanding of the filesystem

·         Object oriented JavaScript development experience including
jQuery, jQueryUI and  web service with JSON, well-structured HTML 5 + CSS
2&3

·         MySQL

·         Apache Web Server administration and configuration

   - Experience with Mobile development and Sencha Touch
   - Understanding of how to design a strong data architecture and how to
   map the user’s business needs to the design
   - Ability and desire to learn and adopt new technologies quickly and
   evangelize to the team, the company and the community
   - Understanding of Object Oriented Analysis & Design, Multi Layer
   Architecture and Patterns
   - Strong experience with Source Control tools specifically subversion,
   mercurial
   - Solid understanding of and experience developing and consuming web
   services – RESTful  and SOAP and 3rd party API integration including JSON
   and XML exchange

Experience working with offshore teams is a plus
