Sr. PHP Developer Description
*Daily Tasks:*
· Create, maintain & document PHP, CSS, xHTML, and
JavaScript/jQuery code
· Interact with MySQL databases via PHP Queries & client side
software
· Commit, push, & pull code from a central repository where other
developers are also actively working
· Communicate with other developers on the team, either in person
or via telecommunications, to ensure all are meeting the requirements of
the task at hand.
*Required Skill Sets:*
· *Languages:*
o Core PHP5 (5+ Years without using frameworks)
o CSS2 (5+ Years)
o jQuery (2+ Years)
o SQL (5+ Years)
o xHTML (5+ years)
· *Source Control Management:*
o Mercurial or GIT preferred
o SVN, & CVS acceptable
· MySQL
· Ability to work with a distributed team
· Knowledge of current PHP Security Methodologies to protect the
web users as well as our databases and servers.

· *Languages:*
o Core JavaScript
o CSS3
o HTML5
· Sphinx Text Search Engine
· Memcache
· Knowledge of the PHPDoc documentation syntax
