As one of the world's top-ranked technology providers to the banking industry and with more than 30,000 experts in 100 countries, our client delivers the most comprehensive range of solutions for the broadest range of financial markets.  As a trusted partner, we are seeking an MS-SQL Database Administrator/Analyst in Norcross, GA.   This person will be responsible for database creation, implementation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting for software applications.

Essential Responsibilities:

•        Evaluate, install and maintain database management system (DBMS) software and related software products.

•        Develop mid-size project plans (i.e., single system/family and multiple resources) using project management tools.

•        Develop communications that persuade and influence target audience (e.g., discussion documents, proposals).

•        Set up and maintain data structures and database environments to support production, performance and development activities.

•        Facilitate reusability and participate in the definition of operational standards for managing information assets.

•        Research current and emerging technology trends pertinent to functional area

Minimum Requirements:

-          3-5 years of experience with 2 or more years of experience in a database analyst or equivalent technical position.

-          Experience with MSSQL 2005 and 2008

-          Experience working with Instance Layer (applying patches, new maintenance, configuration, performance analysis)

-          Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

-          Will need to be flexible to work Tuesday - Saturday (Saturdays will be 4:00 AM - Noon)
