Job Title: Contract Cataloger

Site Location: Academic University, Rome Ga

Project Duration: <8 weeks

Pay Rate: Negotiable based on experience

Roles/Responsibilities:

·        Cataloging of 5,000 books for the inclusion in the client library

·        Perform original and copy cataloging of items usinc OCLC

·        Update metadata and perform data quality assurance as needed

·        Prepare weekly status reports on cataloging activities and progress; preparing other reports as
needed.

·        Label all titles and work with student library assistants to shelve titles in library

Requirements:

Expertise in applying cataloging standards such as using LC Subject Headings, AACR2, MARC, OCLC cataloging applications etc.

Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases and office applications.
