Technical writer for the MediaMail 2.1 unified messaging product
released 1/15/98.
Created an MS Access97 database into which technical content
providers entered information describing the various modules of
MediaMail, then exported the knowledge base into MS Word to generate
a technical appendix.
Created a browser-based documentation repository on the company's
intranet so that all employees could search and reference
documentation.
Developed the on-line help for the browser-based segment of
MediaMail 2.1 using HTML 3.0.2 with Adobe PageMill, Adobe PhotoShop
and Lview.
Developed graphics for Communications & Marketing using
MacroMedia's Freehand 7.0.2.

Pathways Services team: Was responsible for the support and
implementation of database initial table load for 18 hospitals
throughout the United States on HBOC's Health Network Server product,
specifically:
Training customers on data normalization and the table load process
using HBOC's Table Manager product and visiting customers on-site to
ensure initial mapping and population of databases with normalized
data from a variety of external systems;
Assisting hospitals with unit and integrated testing to ensure that
normalization between database systems proved accurate and
investigating failures in data mapping by remotely auditing customers'
databases;
Documenting installation and implementation processes, where needed,
to supplement the standard documentation;
Developing and maintaining the team's intranet web site containing
over 30 web pages on the status of hospitals and related information.
Business Development team: Wrote a comprehensive laboratory manual for
MS Project 4.0 and taught MS Project to a large host of HBOC
employees, mostly project planners.
