Well, lets see where we are now:

1. Rush is addicted to pills (but he's not as bad as Bill Clinton).
2. Arnold likes to grope women (but he's not as bad as Bill Clinton).
3. Bill Bennett was a major league gambler (but he's not as bad as Bill
Clinton).
4. Henry Hyde wrecked a marriage (but he's not as bad as Bill Clinton).
5. George W used daddy's influence to avoid anything remotely like combat
duty (but he's not a draft dodger like Bill Clinton).

This is a case of "my enemy's shit stinks worse than mine".

When you have enough pain, it changes a lot of things. I think his
hearing went pretty suddenly, before he realized how bad things were
getting. With too much pain people get to where they can not function
in their jobs, etc. When taking the pills he, at least, could
function.

God should always be capitalized.

Willy and Hillary Clitoon are two of the most dangerous socialist
people on the planet.

Gary James began this thread, and he said, "Rush also says that he is

responsible for his own actions. I guess he says this because he has
not figured a way to blame Clinton, specifically, or all liberals in
general."

Not by a long shot. Clinton is a career felon who has managed
to avoid convictions all his adult life. This can be done, and
has been done, most notably by several of the big name mobsters
of the last century. And it's not unusual for these types to
have scores of fans and admirers, as Clinton did/does. Hell,
probably the most ruthless and infamous of them all, Al Capone,
was seen as a hero to many in the Chicago area, especially during
the Depression. He would set up soup kitchens for the hungry,
not because he cared about the hungry, but because he knew how
to work with people's minds. It's a known fact that even in the
'90s, there were still old-timers who had kind words about Al
and his soup kitchens. Simpletons often get taken in by criminals
like this.

> 2. Arnold likes to grope women (but he's not as bad as Bill Clinton).

But did he ever rape any, as Clinton did?

Bill Bennett is a Saint compared to Bill Clinton.

Gimme a break.

Most college men of his era avoided combat duty. What Clinton did
was absolutely dispicable...classic Clinton behavior.

Any list with Clinton's name on it will always get top honors.

I can only guess that you're missing one of the biggest strengths of Modern
Conservatism. It's called personal responsibility.

You should know better.

I follow that prerogative as well. First of all because it has a high
piss-off potential for religious nutters and secondly because it is a
societal convention which I flaunt because I am not a sheep.

I'm sorry that Rush is in pain and addicted to painkillers,
and I hope he can kick. *But*... if he was mixed up in illegal
trafficking of the things, then _that's_ what he needs to be held
accountable for.

However, he will get a free walk on this one because he is a rich
celebrity and is not required to be accountable for his actions -
especially since he is a conservative and has a bunch of rich
conservative buddies that will keep anything serious from happening.

Actually, a week in the general population at Marion, Illinois might do
him some good. He might learn about REAL problems that need a solution.

A good friend was in a coma this morning as a result of addiction to
pain killers. They were handy, she was depressed, they were available.

Pain Killers WILL wear you down. They make it easier and easier to slip
into the long goodnight. Everyone's depressed, I'm depressed, the
economy is depressed. Just a few more and depression ends. OOoops,
unacceptable. Now, there's a problem.

I'll just go make that happen.
