A whole flock of new Christians (or at least theists) has joined
AvC. The number of them is becoming too great for the atheitards to
drive them away with the same old hackneyed labels
and baseless postulations, not to mention obscenities and profanities.

I suggest the atheitards call an emergency meeting in the moderator
forum to discuss this crisis.
I am really looking forward to that :)

1. There are far more Christians/theists in the world than atheists.
It would make statistical sense if that ratio reflected the membership
of this group.
2. Perhaps these new members joined to actually learn something. By
the way, being educated moves you away from theism.

Some of the new theist members, unlike XNun/Thetard, actually want to engage in intelligent debate and find her and others trolling offensive.

Maybe XNun/Thetard (if she's capable and I doubt she is) should try to learn something from them.

I'd settle for one of you to come up with some evidence to support

Yep, these atheitards don't have anything to say except, "prove it."
When we prove it and they cannot refute it, their profanities and
obscenities ensue.

I can only pity these atheitard. Poor guys, they cannot even discuss

I didn't claim that, genius. I just don't believe HER claim. Or yours.
Neither of you seem acquainted with the concept of evidence.
Diversions are not evidence that god/spirit exist.

Nope. Go take a logic course.

I am sure that I don't believe her about God, and I'm sure I don't

Not to mention the sheer hypocrisy of being offended when others do exactly what she does.

Of course in her somewhat twisted and bizarre thinking it's probably not obscene or a profanity for her to repeatedly post phuck or a$$hole but it is obscene and a profanity for atheists to post fuck or asshole.

I like this line:

"Do you think there's some sort of date of expiry for when you don't
have to supply proof anymore?"

There's a nice observation in there. It seems like every thetard comes
here, _doesn't_ answer questions or provide counterarguments, and
days, weeks, months, years later: "man, we've been over that thing
that I never addressed". simon is the perfect example of this with his
"infinitely upcoming rational argument for God".

Some of them do that starting out of the gate, like the 3 Stooges in

I always assumed people would have worked out that kind of lame
bullshit in Grade school until I started talking to theists online.

Yeah, people who have never posted on a group like this or debated
much religion in "real life" really don't get just how fucktarded
theists really are when confronted about their beliefs. It's pretty
overwhelming that so many people _really are_ *that* stupid and

Sin is a religious concept - it's doing something that God doesn't
approve of. Since atheists don't believe that God exists at all, His
approval is not important to us.

However, despite your silly slander above, of course atheists do have
values. We just believe that values are not determined by mythical
deities, we believe that values are defined by humans.

You've made a postulation:

"A whole flock of new Christians (or at least theists) has joined
AvC. The number of them is becoming too great for the atheitards to
drive them away with the same old hackneyed labels
and baseless postulations, not to mention obscenities and profanities"

1) You haven't demonstrated that atheists have any intention of
"driving away" theists as a whole. Please demonstrate this. Now,
INDIVIDUAL theists and atheists are a different story... there are
lots of unpopular people on this board, on both sides of the argument.
But you haven't made that argument.

2) You have claimed that atheists make "baseless postulations". Please
substantiate this. Examples are good here.

3) "Ob$cenitie$ and profanitie$": Pot, meet kettle.

> Of course, the long string of assaults on my character
> preceding this wouldn't make me think that the athietards were

There are a handful of people with the authority to "silence you" on
this board, I am one of them. So is OldMan, Dev, Kitty, Simonsaysbye,
Brock, Dag Yo, and BlueSci. None of us have attempted to ban you...
fancy that. You make posts like this to be a drama queen and work on
your persecution complex.

Hence, my comment: Is it difficult for you to maintain that

I happen to be reading Hitler's "Mein Kampf," and just came across the
following passage:

"What we must fight for is to safeguard the existence and reproduction
of our race and our people, the sustenance of our children, and the
purity of our blood, the freedom and independence of the fatherland,
so that our people may mature for the fulfillment of the mission
allotted it by the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE."

Hitler was a Christian, and he was as confused by Christianity as any
other Christian seems to be.

You just post rumors and fallacies. You're not doing your case any
good at all.

You have just described yourself; you don't discuss, you just drag out
tired old cliches.

That is a sick statement: comparing genocide with Online debates.

Prove this statement. Public education in the United States varies by
area, depending on how much tax money is available.

I attended one of the best-rated public school system in the country.
Many chose it over the religious schools when they reached high
school.

There are theists here who are interested in debate.

The only ones that defend this behavior do so because they are either guilty of the same behavior or they are defending their camp "right or wrong" which is, in my opinion, a morally bankrupt position to take.

the way christians attack atheists.

I like e_space, because in a debate he doesn't know the meaning of the
word 'fear'... but then again he doesn't know the meaning of most
words.

Are you seriously trying the morality argument? That's rather..
pathetic.
Morals and ethics formed along with humans. The earliest concepts like
protecting family / tribe even by sacrificing yourself are grounded in
hereditary traits which help genetic survival.
Later on when humans became more intelligent and had gained decent
empathy simple survival logic established most of the basic laws like
no killing or stealing within the tribe and more general rules like
treat others as you want them to treat you.
These days reasoning and logic is the main basis for the dominant
morals and ethics, though some aspects are still remnanst of old
emotional thinking.

No gods were needed, are needed or will ever be needed. Absolute
morals is a nice concept but we have no reason at all to assume
something like that exists.
