I'm new to ATC SIM and think I'm following the instructions OK. But
I'm finding that the game does not register when I give a clearance to
land. Aircraft is below 2000 and tracking for the runway but they
don't land. The instruction is sometimes registered in the flight
progress strips, sometimes not, but either way the planes don't land.
I've managed to get two landings out of hundreds of attempts. What am
I doing wrong?

you have lined them up first and are below 3000ft above ground level?

Hi Richard Dinnen:

You're probably starting your approaches too close to the runway and
the planes don't have enough time to descend. Start issuing your
clearances further out, maybe close to the edge of the screen. Once
that's working consistently for you, then you can give the landing
clearances closer to the runway.

Kind regards,

Thanks Jay

It seems my browser wasn't properly set up to work with ATC-SIM. I've
fixed that and you're right, they always land from a longer approach.
Thank you for your help
