Node.js Lab Day, 27th April - at the new Lab for the Recently Possible

Hi all,

I'm really happy to announce that I've been busy setting up a new space in the city, called "Lab for the Recently Possible". It's a place for experimenting, learning, collaborating and incubating new projects. We're at Dharmafly's HQ in Hove, in a new building with offices and coworking space for businesses and freelancers in the creative industries (it's called "The Dock", a sister project of The Werks).

Our soft launch is a "Node.js Lab Day" this coming Friday, 27th April. You're the first to know!

Details:

A day of Node.js hacking in fine company. It's an experiment, and it's free.
If you've never touched Node and have been waiting for a good time to start, then come along and learn how to get going. We'll explain the basics and help you along the way.
If you're a seasoned Node hacker, then here is a time and space to work on a homegrown project, or to tinker on some new directions with fellow pioneers.

There's plenty of scope for collaborating on a group project (the idea of a realtime multiplayer game environment was mentioned), or to chip away at a personal project, knowing that somebody across the table will be able to help with any little questions or roadblocks that may arise. And if the day is a success, then we can do it again.

Time: 10am - 6pm, 27th April
