iTunes U Goes Mainstream

Nearly one year ago Apple announced the development of iTunes U, a
space within the Apple infrastructure dedicated to the support of

Paul,
It is now standard practice for us to distribute a Template Photoshop file
of the ASU on iTunes U icon image. This image contains the Maroon/Gold
border with a blank background that can be filled with custom images. As
your channel was set up during some of the very early development stages,

I am moving the 58 popc podcasts right now. One thing I need to do is
update the popc logo and title. Is that user configurable or does
someone else change that . . .

I was able to pull our iTunes U feed and plug it into Feedburner. So
now we have trackable information on subscribing to our videos (which
is one of our tabs within iTunes).

I then used that feed info to create direct links to some of our files

Bruce,
We will have to set up a 'Course' for you via the
my.asu.edu/courserequestsystem . This will tie an iTunes U course to
your ASURITE ID, and give you
'Instructor' credentials which will enable you to manage the selected course
structure, upload files, etc.

Last week, it would say hiroshi@... but I couldn't add anything. Today
I signed up for an itunes public shell, but there doesn't seem to be a
way to add iTunes content from there either.

I think your question pertains to the notion of "Credentials" in the
iTunes U terminology.
The Credential mechanisms are how ASU Authentication information
related to Instructors, TAs, and Students is passed to iTunes U, which
in turn displays appropriate corresponding content based on an
individual's credentials. Instructors can see and change

Well, it gets me to the ASU single sign-in. After iTunes launches, it
will not let me edit anything and says "anonymous1234690559900@Arizon a
State University" at the top.

I've been able to add/replace files. Edit the information on the tabs,
graphic, and description.
I am anxious to find out how the process to declare authentication will
work (which I know is still being hammered out) and also about "show

To log in as an 'Instructor' with 'Edit' Credentials, you need to use the
login URL. My mistake; I had not provided the URL to you earlier.

I went to [link] and clicked the iTunes link. It went
straight to the ASU iTunes page, at what point is it supposed to ask me
to login so I can edit?
