Convention Greeters Still Needed!!

Normally I don't recruit for volunteers on this list, but next week
is the event of all events, the BIG Oregon State Elks Association
convention! Our Ashland Lodge will be the star of a statewide event
that hasn't happened in Ashland for 47 years, we'll be hosting about a
thousand visitors from other Oregon Elks lodges. They are traveling a
long way to help us celebrate a very special moment, the installation
of the first female OSEA President, Ashland Lodge's own Kay Englund!
I know many have you have already committed to help in one of the
many positions available during the convention but there have been a
few cancelations and we still have positions open. Make this the one
thing you do for the lodge this year, don't leave it up to the same
tired folks who always volunteer, because there just aren't enough of
them to be everywhere at the same time!
All you need to be a greeter is a postitive, welcoming attitude and
general knowlege about Ashland (where the Armory and Ashland Springs
Hotel are) and very importantly where our lodge's bathrooms are...
That's it.
